“An Alabama Merch Chair’s Guide to Making ‘Bama-Worthy Merch”

To play on the viral “Bama rush” craze, I led the ideation and execution of Fresh Prints’ July 2025 lookbook feat. Jocelyn Chavkin - the apparel chair of Gamma Phi Beta at the University of Alabama (and one of Fresh Prints’ most valuable chapters). I worked with Jocelyn to create her own line of apparel and met her in Tuscaloosa for a photoshoot around the iconic college town in her merch.

It has always been my belief that a brand shouldn’t center themselves in a story if they actually want to build a relationship with their audience. This campaign told a story of Jocelyn not as JUST a sorority merch chair, but as a fashion designer. It was Fresh Prints’ way of saying “We see how hard apparel chairs work to satisfy their chapters and we want to celebrate you.”
